made another shiny. this was a lot easier than the rupee but still takes a stupid amount of time to render because i turned all the dials up quite a bit
Looks awesome. Did you make this for any particular program or can it be imported easily into other 3d rendering programs?
i made this in maya. the files can be exported for different 3d packages
urrrrm well the model is a polygon primitive, meaning it can be created in probably any 3d software with about 3 clicks. the shader on the other hand was created by me, a (more or less) professional 3D artist, using mental ray nodes. if you or anyone else wishes to buy some work from me then great but i cant do stuff for free
As much as I'd like to commission you and various other people, I'm afraid that's easier said than done for me. I've been trying to get a prepaid money card to buy stuff online for a while now, but I can't seem to get a permanent card. I have a theory on what it is, but I'm not what I can do about it if I'm correct.
omg this looks real
This is beautiful C:
cool! *O* awesome
Gah ^^ <3
Make it spin and get another billion views.
heh, yup, i will i was trying to make a mario coin as well but modelling a disc with a star in it is surprisingly hard! oh also look at the tags on this one, they are ridiculous
What about the stars from Mario 64? Or a heart piece?
oooh a heart piece! that could be cool. a stars a bit simple i think. I just spent a few hours making a mario coin and then it crashed before i could save it Q.Q
If you want a complicated one, do a Yoshi coin from Super Mario World. Arrows from Zelda? Or are you sticking to shinies?
aw jeez a yoshi coin!? i think that might be a bit beyond me arrows are cool, i was thinking of maybe doing a whole load of items from zelda, like bombs and weapons and stuff.
SHINY! *3* -grabby hands-
